I offer half- or whole day demonstrations and workshops following the principles of the Ortho-Bionomy, in order that you can obtain hands-on experience of what the Ortho-Bionomy feels like. I am also willing to travel to you to offer a workshop, demonstration, presentation or talk. These are not part of the official Ortho-Bionomy Training. You will find information regarding the Practitioner Training at the International Society of Ortho-Bionomy: www.sobi.org or the German Society of Ortho-Bionomy: www.dgob.info

Ortho-Bionomy®: An Introduction to gentle holistic bodywork

20th - 21st July, 2019

In Ellesmere, nr. Wrexham, North Shropshire

We are planning an Introductory Course to the Ortho-Bionomy® on the weekend of 20th - 21st July, 2019, in Ellesmere. An approximately 30-page coloured manual / script will be provided from which you can continue to work after completion of the course. We will mainly be including the structural Phase 4 techniques in the course, but also some biodynamic (Phase 5) and energetic (Phase 6) techniques as well as working with some Chapman reflexes and some isometric techniques. I will be able to give information about the exact venue later. The course will cost £225 for the weekend, running from 9.00 - 17.00 on both days.

We are also hoping that, even though this will be an introductory course including several different elements of the Ortho-Bionomy® , you will be able to use this course as an accreditation for the official practitioner training program if you should so wish.

Professor Colin Gibbs will be visiting England for a few weeks in the summer and will be leading the course. Colin is an Advanced Ortho-Bionomy® Practitioner and Registered Ortho-Bionomy® Instructor in New Zealand. His background is that he is a Professor with a lifetime Chair in Education, Teacher Education and Educational Psychology. His PhD is in the fields of self-beliefs, motivation, self-regulation, and motivation. He has also been an elementary school teacher and an art teacher over the years, but is now retired (apparently, he says!). He runs clinics as well as undertakes a lot of Ortho-Bionomy® supervision and teaching.

If you should be interested in registering for this weekend, please let me know by sending me a message. If you should have friends or contacts who also may be interested, please do share this link with them.
